February 9, 2023 - Napa 2023: the quieter version; 2/6/2023-2/11/2023 (Napa/Sonoma California): The wine of the tasting and honestly completely changed my impression of the producer. This is a very good, even great wine (I would say most of the other wines are good). Beautiful and classic with some red fruits. There’s been evolution in it compared to the 2003 or 2013 but it still keeps that wonderful freshness and acid. Still feels a bit young even. It’s really special at this point. A treat to get to try.
