Community Tasting Notes 3

    January 20, 2024 - Colour: medium ruby
Nose: medium(+) intensity, tertiary, developed. Red and black plum, black cherry, pomegranate. Bramble?. Earth, forest floor. Cinnamon bark, nutmeg, clove, cedar.
Palate: dry, medium acidity, medium tannins (fine grained, slightly drying), medium alcohol (13,5%), medium bodied. Medium intensity, medium length finish. Red and black plum, black cherry, cherry, pomegranate. Bramble? Earth, forest floor. Cinnamon bark, nutmeg, clove, cedar.
Conclusions: good to very good. Can drink now, but maybe suited to short-term ageing. I tried this previously in August 2022, and it hasn't really shifted since then. I guess it'll go a few more years as a result. P&P (pop&pour), not decanted, purchased retail recently.
    Seal: technical cork.

May 4, 2022 - This was singing last night. Brought from a friend, it is bottled for Sainsbury as a part of their discovery series. Decanted and ready immediately, spicy cherries, vibrant, a little bit funky, medium weighted, and just delicious. A splendid example of traditional NdM.
