May 8, 2022 - Musty slightly tannic cherry to start on nose. A little cherry and orange believe it or not on the palate. Both initial nose and palate went away. Nose never really came back but palate was good. Palate Opened up again to cherry, then added a distinct licorice mouthfeel w some dried fruit. Paired well w tomato based pork ragu over polenta. Nice wine.

January 6, 2021 - Decanted for 75 minutes. It was okay. Black fruit, leathery and menthol....some earth tones.
