May 11, 2024 - I have become a red electric stan. And this is just another supporting data point. Wonderful purity of fruit, with energetic notes of queen Anne cherries, rose petal, cinnamon stick and a nuance of morrocan spices and tree bark. Lovely, integrated mouth feel with good depth, more red fruit trending to plum and lively acid. Fine tannins. At under $30 this is like stealing. Glad I have more.

March 13, 2023 - PnP. Lots of dark cherry, red and blue fruit, some spice. Gorgeous nose. Medium body, medium acidity, has those harder 2018 tannins in the finish, but they're pretty well integrated at this point. Drinks well now, but I can see it going another 3-5 years. For $22 at the grocery store, it's a pretty exceptional deal. It leans maybe a bit more ripe than I generally like but for the price it's likely worth buying more and seeing how it does with time. Solid wine for the price.

February 13, 2022 - Decanted and drank over 5 hours. Changed quite a bit over time. Smoother and lusher towards the end. Very nice.

March 31, 2021 - A lovely and complete wine at this youthful stage. Plenty of mixed red and blue fruits and some spice with medium plus body. Clean acidity in a more feminine feeling finish. A fine pairing last night with roasted pork loin on wilted spinach with bacon and a homemade creamed corn sauce.

    January 8, 2021 - Ruby red robe.
Perfumed aromatic notes of peony, red fruit and spice.
    Light body.
    Attack: Aromatic, soice
Midpalate- Red fruit, (raspberry, cherry ), blueberry notes.
Lovely soft tannins, acids. Well balanced, structured.
    High quality to value ratio.
