Community Tasting Notes 4

April 8, 2009 - Dark red with a pink rim. Sweet cassis dominates on the palate, but I also found some blackberry and blueberry in there as well. Tannins are soft & ripe. Very well made.

June 29, 2008 - Tasted at the winery. spiciness to the nose was inviting. Palate dissapointed though - fruit lacked charisma.

    November 4, 2007 - WIML89

Tasted November 4, 2007 at the winery. Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of thistle, rich berries and violets. Soft and supple on the palate with flavors of rich berries, plums and cherries. Medium acidity, silky tannins, medium body. Drink now or maybe hold over the short to medium term.

October 23, 2007 - Rich, ruby, sweet plum and currant fruit; almost comes off as a red zin; not overly impressive.
