  Medium plus on the nose with blackberry, black cherry, licorice, black pepper, charred wood, smoke, leather and meat. Developing.
  
  Medium plus intensity intensity and dry on the palate. High acidity, medium plus body, high alcohol, high tannins, medium plus finish.
  
  Can drink now but has potential for aging.

  April 23, 2021 - I got this as part of a promotion Macy's Wine Cellars was having - six bottles for $49.98, or something like that. Really wasn't expecting much, but this is pretty good. Great color, almost no nose to speak of. But a rich, soft mouthfeel, with a plethora of dark, luscious fruit. Adequate acidity, very smooth finish. Good varietal character. Not much complexity, but easy drinking and enjoyable. If the other five bottles are this good, I'll have gotten more than my money's worth. This drinks like a $20-$25 wine.
