September 11, 2021 - A Few Wines Tasted at Lisa and Sheldon's Engagement Party (The Krengels - Bannockburn IL): Small glass, brief note. Both very rich and very ripe with impressive concentration that thrills me, but too much nearly sweet stone fruit for now. I expect it will get more harmonious in another year or three, and I expect I will like it a lot more then.,

August 17, 2021 - Decanted for 90 minutes or so. Mildly oaky aroma mingles with citrus zest. Amazing flavors, focused on lemon drop as the initial primary flavor. Secondary and mid-palate notes are almost like a botanical gin: I taste juniper, Keffir lime leaf, mint, and other herbs. Very clean yet lingering finish. Wonderful wine. Definitely need to chill a bit more than you might expect and then let return closer to American cellar temperature as you taste (after 90+ minutes of decanting).

July 10, 2021 - Brought this to Melisse for tasting menu. Strangely, I did not like it. It has a petrol overtone and that strange flavor that Wente clones can have. I did look up the clones and it apparently contains old Wente, Montrachet, and one other.

June 15, 2021 - Had to try one early! Wow wine for me! Texturally it’s a phenomenal experience! Silky mouthfeel, full but light, terrific finish. Outstanding now and will age into a beautiful wine in a very short time! IMO. Wow!
