February 25, 2023 - Initially a little reticent on the nose, with air opens up to complex notes of red berries, crushed strawberries, toasted oak and spices. Really expressive and inviting. Incredible depth of plush, creamy, sweet red fruits, floral notes and a mineral edge. A little sous bois in the background. Fresh acidity and already well integrated tannins. The oak is noticeable but not distracting. Complex and persistent finish. Top quality and excellent value considering the vines are now more than 100 years old.
