March 5, 2023 - This was surprisingly ready to drink - savory cooking spices, spicy cedar and dark espresso roast surround the fleshy fruity acidity of the red and dark fruits. The typical backbone of Meo minerality keeps the characters on a stable and evolving stage.
The silky tannins belie the readiness of this wine - while it is a delightful drink today, the points of intrigue require some time to develop over the next 5-10 years before the stage is complete.
