Community Tasting Notes 3

January 19, 2024 - Medium gold. Quite floral on the nose, jasmine and orange rind but on the palate this is less pronounced and gives way to peach and lemon. The fruit is very nicely done, very fresh tasting still but there is some body here as well, nice and round, concentrated. Drink white Rhone young or very old I think someone told me, and avoid the middle years. Fair enough. This could work as an aperitif but best with food I thought - red mullet in this instance.

June 10, 2023 - Medium golden. Medium intense nose of apricot, candized lemon, orange blossom, some spice.

Palate similar. Oily texture, concentrated dried apricot, a quite refreshing lemon acidity, crushed rock silt minerality, lingering floral and spicy notes. A dry wine.

    Medium body, medium acidity.

July 17, 2022 - V.g. white for dinner, good acid, body and fruit. Not too oaky, but interesting fruit. Marsanne and Rousanne?
