April 12, 2023 - Expressive nose displaying very ripe yellow fruit, lemon curd, baked apple, honey, almond, cream, sweet spices and mineral. Excellent concentration, slightly coiled deeply toned yellow fruit, rich and dense, medium acidity and mineral, and a medium to long ripe yellow fruit driven finish. This is a classic masculine Batard.

February 19, 2023 - Ski trip - Four wino familes; 2/17/2023-2/20/2023 (WISP Resort): Expressive nose displaying ripe yellow fruit with a hint of white, lemon curd, white peach, honey, a hint of vanilla, cream, saline, spicy spices and limestone. Excellent concentration, layers upon layers of rich sweet yellow fruit, rich and dense but also showing good balance, bright acidity, limestone mineral, and a long ripe yellow fruit driven finish with a hint of cream at the end. This is a concentrated rich style of Batard.
