February 3, 2024 - Évidemment trop jeune malgré un passage en carafe donc svp soyez patients et attendez-le. La matière est toutefois présente, une belle tension et des tannins modérés qui sont un gage de longévité.

March 5, 2023 - Yes, too young, should open for 25 years, etc etc , but never had a Bruno Clair and I gambled a 19 might show well early. Decanted 6 hrs. A real chameleon of a wine here, at first showing some touches of wood and and came across as almost round. With some cedar planked Columbia River King in the foray, thing took a turn towards the serious, with deep as a well structure and burly tannins taking centerstage, lots of limestone and almost a citrus cut / great acidity that peeks out under the density of the wines foundation. After 45 minutes of small contemplative sips, an equilibrium finally emerges – we see some savory black currant fruit, the tannins mellow out some, very enjoyably to drink. Technically call it a 93 today, but loose this one in the cellar and lets see what a decade plus can do.

November 28, 2022 - more ready than the 2018 les cazetiers
tart fruit some mushrooms and elegance starting to show
years of life left as not even close to a drinking window
worth seeking out and putting to sleep
