  April 4, 2023 - Gorgeous dark fruits on the nose with some extremely pretty floral notes to boot. Supple and well-rounded in the mouth with very fine tannins running from top to bottom. Clearly this will reward patience but I am not sure I'll be able to keep my hands off these. Despite its bluster this is a big old softie at heart!

  January 31, 2022 - Aromas of strawberry, raspberry, wild blueberry, a little clementine, airy spice (white pepper, clove, vanilla...), vague flowers, raw cacao, roses, suspicions of game and salty sea air... Quite full on the palate, layers of rich ripe fruit, supple tannins, gorgeous texture, this will turn velvety in time, beautiful freshness and depth. Persistent and pure finish, intense fruit melding with clear stony and saline notes. Killer for village level, this is pretty much ready to go and I don't think it will close down. It is serious enough to expect positive evolution for at least a decade, probably two or three.

  December 16, 2020 - Quite elegant and restrained nose: lower intensity, but it does wake up with air and time. A sense of fatness, though not heavy or deep, an earthy quality of mulchy ripe fruits on the darker side… very nice.
  
  Stimulating and energetic with a richness to the acidity. Similarly earthy flavours to the nose, and perfumed blueberry fruit. This shows some tension, a tautness with a chalky/graphite edge. Long and intense. This grows on you.
