  January 1, 2024 - Correct but subtle - light and a little spicy. Red fruits. Would be happy drinking again but would like to try with some additional age.

  July 22, 2023 - Nice wine. $33, but i know i overpaid slightly (place with good suggestions). I'm between 90-91 on this, very elegant and solid in any event.
  
  2018. Consumed 2023.
  
  Decanted. Notes both early and later. Consumed before and with steak.
  
  Dark ruby, but translucent
  
  This wine is young, yet quite drinkable - likely much better after an hour+ in the decanter. We shall see.
  
  Prominent but fine tannins. Bright cherry & Raspberry nose, along with flowers and earth and some spices (pros say baking spice, vague). Maybe Cocoa?
  
  Palate is powerful although the viscosity is low. Flavor profile similar to nose, but with some of the usual tar/cocoa. Fairly long finish.
  
  All notes to here, relatively early in decanting window.
  
  Tastes most balanced and fresh at 58-65 degF. Cellar temp, not USA room temp.
  
  As it opened, it, well, opened without major profile shifts. Silkier tannins, maybe a more roses on the nose. Overall a bit more subtle and balanced, but the same wine.

  Bright cherry, sharp oak, a bit of spicy capsicum. Nice mouthfeel. Youthful and a bit spicy with good depth and bouquet of flowers. Long tannic mouthfeel. Not one that will sit in the cellar and grow complexity, but a very nice representation of the grape. Personally, I prefer a Produttori Langhe Neb or Vajra Langhe Neb for a better representation of the varietal at 1/2 cost

  👃 medium intense, notes from leather, clay pot, earthy, sweet cherry 🍒 , bubblegum, allspice, dill, camphor, chamomile
  👄 dry, high semi rough tannins, high acidity, medium body, medium plus intense notes from unripe red currant,
  cherry 🍒, vanilla , cranberry,
  eucalyptus, balsamic
  🏁 long lasting, young easy going, tannins still biting
