  August 11, 2014 - deep purple, lean slightly toward brick. Dark fruit; plum, black raspberry. quite fruit forward. Full bodied with some tannins, but not pronounced. Good finish. paired well with porterhouse steak, and with duck confit. I liked a lot.

  February 3, 2011 - Decanted 1 hour. Beautiful dark color. Soft, understated bouquet. The 5% Syrah adds just a touch of spice to a beautiful elegant wine with a long finish. Had with grilled filet mignon and was exceptional. My second bottle of this and it gets better with age. Will wait a year for my last bottle and see how it evolves.
