    April 24, 2019 - Note: I use a sale on which 85 represents a very good wine.

I like my white Bdx with some age on them, and this one delivered. Rich and flavorful. A little flabby, but not over the hill.
    No need to hold.

August 5, 2012 - Oakier than the last bottle, but goes well with sturdy foods.

September 29, 2010 - Much better than the last bottle that I had a couple of years ago. The oak are mellowed some, so that it is more in the background. Very nice acidity with waxy lemon flavors. Good finish. Not as good as Carbonnieux Blanc, but a pretty good Graves white for the price.

August 3, 2010 - Tasted as part of a Bordeaux tasting. Light yellow color. Not overly aromatic on the nose but hints of lemon and baked apple with some minerality. Similar flavors on the palate along with some oak flavors. The acid level was a bit too low though so it made the wine feel clunky on the mouthfeel. My guess is that the wine was probably a year or so past its prime. Definitely drink up if you are holding any.

(Chateau Cantelys Blanc) #2; COLOR-medium golden; NOSE-very interesting; smokiness; a lot of beautiful lemon zest; little woody component; little Oak monster; lilacs; TASTE-tremendous weight; great w/ fish; great complexity; nice vibrant fruit; apple core & drips of honey; nice polish & length; very vibrant & explosive; very baked apple; extreme length; classic food wine; vibrant acidity that is well integrated; interesting chalk meets lemon; viscous; honey is a dominant component; some back-end Pineapple; very well made; will last another 3 years, but drinking very well right now; WS-91; GV-90
