  August 22, 2021 - A blend of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca. Bottle #3684 of 4000.
  
  Medium to deep purple with a narrow ruby rim. Attractive aromas of wild blackberry, smoke, brambles, cut cedar and bell pepper. Explosive palate of juicy blackberry and mulberry carried on a tidal wave of mouth-watering acidity. The finish is slightly astringent and coats the mouth under a layer of grainy tannins. Good enough on its own but better with food.

  February 6, 2021 - Bottle 5914/8000.
  Deep ruby-purple, opaque black core, very slow moving tears @14% abv. Nose of cherry, dried leaves, tobacco, earth and wood. Dry, medium(+)-high acidity, medium supple tannin, medium(+) alcohol (w/o heat) and medium-medium(+) body. Palate of black fruit, vanilla, baked prunes, leather. Pleasant crunchy mouthfeel. Bracing acidity and firm dry tannins tame the fruits leading to a long lingering and balanced finish.
  
  At this price point this wine is awesome. Buy a case next timw.
  After trying another bottle I am even more impressed.
