  May 4, 2024 - Raisins & Currants on the nose. Dark fruit and oak on the pallet. Well rounded and dry. Structured. A good example of NAPA CabSav.

  January 15, 2024 - At least 1 point better than 9 months ago. 2 hour double decant. Dark magenta in the glass.
  
  The green is much less on the nose, more camphor on the palate now, 9 months later. There is an improved creamy-ness to the palate. Lots of raspberry fruit, too. Lighter in style but quite good and hopefully will put on weight in the next few years.

  April 29, 2023 - Very similar experience to AGELVIS' note from 7/22. Especially on the nose. Not just subtle green pepper, but also some sagey dandelion for a short while, too. Slow ox'd cork out of bottle for 90 min prior to taking to HMC's for dinner. Not much changed. Decanted at HMC's for the rest of the evening and enjoyed over 3-4 hours.
  
  This is decidedly red fruited as compared to the black fruited Quivet on this night. By hour 2 the nose has lost much of the green notes but it still walks that fine line on the palate between Bdx and Napa in both mouth feel and taste. This wine feels classy and understated a bit and while very good still hints at being a bit reticent with more to give down the road. 93 now with potential to 95 in a few more years?

  July 31, 2022 - Two hour decant. Very deep magenta color. Underripe plum, Sour Patch kids gummies, Italian parsley, lavender, and subtle green pepper on the nose. Smooth, dry palate, with good acidity. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
  
  This is young and needs another year (or two). It’s quite Bordeaux-esque at the moment.
