January 30, 2024 - 40 minute decant/airing.
Clear medium garnet, medium meniscus high viscosity.
N of black currant, blackberry, raspberry. Gravel, smoked meat.
Palate a bit brighter. More cherry on the fruit. Gravel/stone and charred meats - like burnt ends. Yum.
Dry, Med+ body, medium acidity, 14+, fine/med tannins.
Little thinner than expected - more elegant than powerful. Quite enjoyable. -

November 26, 2022 - Dark fruit, some harsh tannins that open up after 30 minutes or so, notes of blackberry, cinnamon and powdered cocoa, medium weight.

July 5, 2022 - Absolutely stunning. Loads of Syrah funk. Enthralling bread crust on the nose. Savory notes of bacon. Violet finish. So good.

December 11, 2021 - 1st night, good wine, nothing special.
2nd night, same wine? Wow what a change. That air really opened this up and it became a great wine. Full of complex syrah flavors, great bouquet.
This wine is much better than I thought. Will hold the other bottle for a few years.
