December 25, 2007 - Aged red colour, with only the faintest hint of browning at the rim. Nose full of ripe sweet cherry wth a dry undertone of old sherry. Quite a dry palate, but still a good amount of cherry fruit and a characteristic bitter edge. Dry medium finish. Showing very well at 24 years old! Drunk from immaculately stored bottle - cork was perfectly clean and very tight.

September 3, 1993 - nice amarone, nose slightly spumante, served too cold but opens in the glass, ripe cherry, bitter sour plum peel, quite complex, tannins-acid-fruit nicely balanced , has everything to effortlessly retrieve the next century, reminiscent of the 1973
