August 5, 2023 - A forward and expressive nose full of blackcurrant syrup, green tea, plum, vanilla and heaps of ripe black cherry. Elegant and balanced, even if quite angular, rustic and short. A nice and easy drinking HCDN, but also nothing more. Showing better than the HCDN Aux Chaumes at the moment.

January 27, 2023 - Quite light in color and concetration. A bit of flint/funk/reduction on the nose along with raspberry and light cherry notes that show an elegant lift with air. Quite suave, elegant and etheral. Finishes with a firmness and stony quality and a bit of spice cake. Really lovely.

April 6, 2022 - Får litt tid på karaffel. Bruker en liten halvtime på å åpne seg. Veldig lys og sjarmerende i frukten. Pur bringebær. Svakt floral. Utrolig delikat stil i munn. Leskende og lettdrikkelig. Ren, rød frukt, subtile tanniner. Høy drikkeglede!

March 20, 2022 - Good bright ruby. A nose of vibrant raspberry and red cherry, cocoa powder, red plum and Vosne spice rack. A touch of fresh strawberry. A mouth of rich, lifted red berry and cherry fruit and some plum with a faint note of dark chocolate. Fresh, fairly brisk acidity. A little below mid weight with spherical, fine tannins. Excellent at Bourgogne level. For this level, well balanced between fruit, tannins, acids and alcohol (12.5% ABV). Quite cultured and refined. Drink by around 2030.
