    June 12, 2021 - Overall, disappointing.

The rather nice scent is overlayed by a dumb musty tone, although that dissipates after some time.

This wine unquestionably has some assets: the minerality and slight petrol tone carries the promise of a good wine.

    Problems are:
    - there's too little of the assets, and foremost
    - it has a punishing acidity, even in Mosel terms. There is a brutal amount of unripe ananas-like acidity which gets to dominate the wine and bury everything else under it

Perhaps in 1-2 years it will all settle and it will be a cool wine.
For now... only for the hardcore acidity fans.
