July 22, 2007 - Another successful 2005 that paints a smile on the sometimes downcast Mondeuse. Although lighter and less chiseled than the benchmark 2005 Raymond Quenard, ths is cut along similar lines, with fresh berry fruit transparent enough to reveal some underlying gravel, sleek acidity, and a soft but precise streak of tannin in the background like the crackle of vinyl under a fine needle.
