October 3, 2023 - Dark brooding ruby-carmine. Typical CdR aromas of underbrush, leather, and black fruit. Dry-off dry, medium acidity, medium(+) ripe tannin and medium(+) alcohol and full body. Palate of blueberry, blackberry jam, chocolate/cocoa, and pepper. Balanced soft mouthfeel. Not particularly deep or complex. Good length warm finish @14% abv.
Decant for 1-2 hr.
Good Côtes du Rhone village. -

May 11, 2022 - 1st bottle after shipping - v dark colour and lots of blackberries, sweet voluptuous fruit and rich palate with soft tannins. V easy to drink - delicious.
