  December 20, 2021 - Dark ruby fruit - blackberry, currants, dark cherry, and a little plum. Smooth mid-palate with a nice purity and solid depth/concentration - medium plus body. Nice rich/vibrant flavors of dark berries, some spice/licorice, cassis, and a little cocoa. Decent finish but not overly long nor deep - it could use some more time to open-up with the finish. Decanted for two hours and drank over a couple more. Improved with time but drinking pretty well after the decant. A solid QPR at around $60. Drank next to the 2014 vintage and the 2018 was quite a bit better - bigger/fuller fruit and more expressive. 100% cab.
