January 20, 2023 - 50% Cab, 40% Merlot, 10% Carménère’ blend. The minority varietal, Carmemere’ is what I taste most. Good, food friendly, higher acidity. You’ll forget it the next day, but enjoy it enough while you drink. Good QPR for $13.

January 5, 2023 - Nice structure, solid acidity, very food friendly. Strong berry palette with some musty, wet gravel. Black fruits, floral, fresh, even a hint of sea breeze/salinity. Touches of bramble, blackberry, vegetal.

November 21, 2022 - Consistenly good. Close to the peak- but will deliver at a high level next 5 to 8 years.

November 15, 2022 - So what does a Bordeaux blend from the Dolomites taste like? Well actually this would probably be your guess.

Aromatic on the nose, juicy gamey floral aromas that are ripe but understated. The oak is subtle and the body medium- medium acidity too, with a bitter chocolate note on the palate with a persistent finish. Pepper and cedar leave a lasting impression. Tannic structure is there but fine and in the background.

This is refined, nicely balanced and super tasty. Blind I’d call it a Loire on steroids- it’s stylistically closer to Bordeaux than it is Bolgheri.

Fermented in concrete, aged in concrete and 20% new oak.
