  September 8, 2021 - Portuguese and Spanish wines: Vibrant purple color. The nose shows deep currant paste contrasted with juicy raspberries, along with notes of violets, smoky earth, lovely clove and pepper tones, too. On the palate, this shows tart acidity and moderate-strength tannins. Spicy raspberries and juicy plum fruit, laced with anise, campfire smoke, pepper, violet petals and potting soil tones. Stays fresh throughout and versatility. Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cao and Tinta Franceica, aged nine months in concrete and old French oak.

  July 15, 2021 - Retail $24. Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Francisca, Tinta Roriz. Fairly dark in the glass with oodles of black fruit on the nose: blackberry, plum, cassis, even anise (yeah, not a fruit). The palate is also quite fruity, but in a reserved, Old World meets New kind of way (if that makes any sense). The fruit is bookended with ample acidity and an earthy aspect that comes through right before the finish. Very nice.

  Dark plum, dried dark fruit (prune),aromatic herbal component (juniper) tomato leaf nose.
  Light Body, bright acids. Purity of expression. Exquisite.
