March 27, 2022 - Braunrote Farbe / In der Nase reife Pflaume, Milchschokolade, süße Würze, Zeder und Tonnen von Leder / Im Mund trocken, aber mit Fruchtsüße. Dazu voller Körper mit wenig+ Säure. Samtig eingebundenes Tannin ohne jegliche Ecken und Kanten
Der Wein ist ein komplexer Genuss - hat den Höhepunkt für mich aber bereits überschritten, da er etwas breit ist und zu wenig tänzelnd-lebhaft wirkt. -

December 15, 2010 - This is still youthful. Nose and palate are very typically tuscan in spite of being merlot. Oak and tannins quite noticeable suggesting more time needed. Fruit is buried but notes of dark cherry emerge. Satisfying without intrigue. 50+8+8+17+7=90+
