March 16, 2024 - Decanted and drank over 3 hrs. Really hit its stride after 2. Still too young obvi but already showing beautiful layering of flavors and that unique SQN mouthfeel

February 19, 2024 - I have bounced back and forth with Sqn.. wanting to love them but honestly they are so hit and miss for me.. these wines to me taste manufactured.. there is something about their wines that are always the same.. this wine lacked on the entry and mid but did have a nice finish.. I will revisit this today but we only drank about a 1/4 of the bottle last night.. huge disappointment

The Top Syrah ran circles around the sqn

January 20, 2024 - Opened for 1 hour. Explosive and intense but maintains incredible balance for a wine this rich. Layered and multifaceted on the palate. Certainly has many years ahead but the tannins are so integrated they are seamless.

July 30, 2023 - Wow! What an amazing bottle of wine. Shared with friends and everyone was blown away! Notes of blackberry, cherry, leather and mocha. Smooth tannins and very velvety. Long lingering flavors. Very special bottle of wine.

March 20, 2023 - Incredible bottle of wine. Dark and brooding, deep purple in the glass. Lots of spice, dark fruit, broken stone. Double decanted, it's incredible but hidden a while and took a few hours to come out. I wouldn't take a look at this for at least another five years, but it is great now.
