May 12, 2023 - Opened and then quadruple decanted and let sit in a flat bottom decanter for 30 minutes. Immediate aromas of current, earth, and classic BDX nose. Surprising how delicious this is in the first few minutes. The wine opens up in the next 30 minutes and is beautiful - fine tannins, nice acid, & balance! A terrific wine, and a terrific QPR. Throws a bit of sediment. Definitely can drink this now with appropriate decant, a fabulous wine for the money!

November 2, 2022 - The wine looks inky colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis). It tastes like black currant (cassis). The body is medium. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.
Very little Tannin. Will keep another 10 years easily.

April 25, 2022 - Not corked but completely undrinkable.
    Geen kurk maar totaal ondrinkbaar.

January 30, 2022 - Soft Subtle fruit notes on the. Nose. Great balance overall. Decent finish that gets better as it lingers. Some spice on the nose very little on the taste. A dryer wine of course but not too dry. Will go well with food it seems. Would dEfinately drink this again. I let it decant for three hours before tasting.

December 2, 2021 - Obviously too young, but very approachable. On the nose and palate deep dark cherry, kirsch, plum, pencil lead, wet rock. Finely engrained tannins. Long finish
