April 20, 2023 - Wow! Med Yellow gold with very faint copper
On the nose is honey and cookie crumbs, even some chalk
On the palate, ripe apple pear and tiny bit of plum
    Chalky
    High acidity
    Long finish

Has a lot of great characteristics I love in champagne lol!

September 26, 2022 - Mid-gold-yellow to browning edges; the nose shows development with a hint of oxidation and lots of honey.
Despite the spritz-y acidity, all the fruit has evaporated and what remains is a slightly chalky oyster shell on wafer biscuits and honey baklava. Pity.

October 2, 2021 - Bottle 2: The colour is more yellow rather than gold, there is the similar Williams pears, more spiced poached pears, towards an asian pear, even some nectarine. Nice breadth to the mid-palate, the acidity is better and more mineral-edged driving the wine forward. A medium-long length with an attractive lemon twist. Cleaner, and showing more upright, almost elegant.

October 2, 2021 - Bottle 1: light gold in colour with aromas of fresh orchard fruit, yellow apple, pear and a hint peach.
A freshness on entry with lively acidity and creamy texture, the flavours mimic the nose with baked apple and Williams pears, touch of Sugar Cracknall (but not honeyed). Some sweet notes on the finish show its age, but this is a simple pleasant style of wine with a toffee apple finish. Pretty good, no real oak nuances. I don't feel this is showing its very best.
