July 2, 2021 - From a well stored magnum. PNP, but needed a full 90 minutes to lose that petrol , horsehair, funky barnyard push. As it opened, lots of warm brioche, pear tart, apricot pie, and wet clay minerality. Not terribly complex, missing acidic cut, but very rich, creamy, and pleasurable. Good drinking for 5-7 years, but fully evolved. Best with chicken, lobster, or simple pasta, but not too much spice or citrus.

June 18, 2020 - Popped and poured. Drink up.

November 26, 2019 - Based on previous note, poured half a bottle via Coravin into decanter and let it sit for an hour. For this bottle, that was a mistake. The nose was quite nice when first poured, but an hour later had faded away. After another hour the palate faded away as well. Pop and pour the remaining half.

January 21, 2018 - Poured into decanter, found the nose weak and didn't get back to it for 90 minutes (unintentionally), not expecting much. It really came around during that time and was outstanding for the next two hours, showing increasing complexity and a wonderful nose, much better than previous bottles.
