March 17, 2023 - It’s young, but still enjoyable. Dark fruit with subtle floral notes probably from viognier. We got a glass at a restaurant for our main course, and it went well with the wagyu steak.

Very austere, smoked pork belly and salami are on point. Blackberry fruit was in the background, and as the wine evolved violets and black licorice notes came through.
Not a heavy weight, but a beautiful northern Rhone that drank remarkably well young. If I had another I would put a good 7-8 years on it.1 person found this helpful Comment
