February 22, 2024 - This was really good, wish I had more to hold onto for a bit as it will probably just get better. Smoky with black cherry, mocha, licorice, crushed stone minerality. Improved over 2-3 hours building plushness and complexity.

February 9, 2024 - A deep ruby color with touches of garnet. On the nose very well balanced and elegant, plum, blackberry, oak, smoky, white pepper and other herbal notes. On the palate medium+ rounded tannins, quite rich, concentrated. The acidity is yet not high at all. I think it is still young to drink in 2024.

October 13, 2022 - WINE & SPIRITS TOP 100, SAN FRANCISCO (San Francisco, Ca.): Nose of plum, roasted meat, black berry, white pepper, and earthy floral notes, same on the palate, big body, very tasty, concentrated, mouth filling, needs five years to peak, and a lovely, long finish.

September 2, 2022 - Shimmering yellow gold - ready nose of talcum powder and sweet fresh gardenias and orange zest and macadamia nut and cardamom and Cheerio dust ( all we can do is relate to things we know ) - thick creamy unsweetened caramel cotton candy with a thick faintly bitter spicy hot alcoholic Chinese numbing pepper ending. This is rich concentrated complex monster. Like an uber rich Alsatian field blend akin to Marcel Deiss Schoenenberg. Massive. Overpowering food. Recommend drinking contemplatively solo.

April 22, 2022 - Features meaty, earthy top notes on pounded mulberry and damson plum. Herbal notes add to its complexity. Rich and dense yet with elegance of texture. Long, caressing finish.
