April 20, 2024 - A sommelier at Pappas Steakhouse put me on this wine. For around $100 on the menu this offers value but needs a hefty decant or days with slow ox in the bottle.

For me, it was best on day three.

Evidently there is a good decent buzz in Northern Rhone about Cecillon's work. Evidently one to follow.

    91-92+

    Hold.

February 23, 2023 - Blind tasted. Prunes, raspberry bonbons on the nose. Dry tannins, mineral. Tobacco dryness on the finish and acidity. Rootsy. Rustic. Thought this was Italian! needs time..

November 17, 2022 - La Tablee: Julien Cecillon Dinner with Julien Cecillon (Gus's Chophouse): My favorite of the first flight. Throughout the dinner could tell that Julien's wines were really coming together and that the more recent vintages were quite good. This was in that category. Darker fruits, good acid, a bit more floral. Drinks very well if too young now.
