Community Tasting Notes 5

February 9, 2023 - Not really sure about this. Changed a little each night over 3 nights under pump. Like others have said, there’s an underlying tartness that keeps it bright, but on third night a little too much. May need more time to get in line.

November 30, 2022 - Epic! You can small a glass of this from 6 feet away.

Superbly balanced, with a finish that sails on and on.

One of the best Pinot's in recent memory.

June 1, 2022 - Darker red fruits and almost a balsamic or something that keeps it from being very fruity and adds a bit more interest. A hint sweeter than I remember the wine being, but still quite good. Easy to drink.

April 21, 2022 - My first experience with Cobb Pinot. I have seen acclaim for it people and publications I respect. I am unsure if this needs additional time to develop and evolve or it just missed my taste stylistically. I found it a bit tart and astringent and kept hoping it would unwind a bit. For me it just did not come around. Day 2 was much the same. The fact it got to day 2 with me should tell you something - not a typical occurrence. It is beautiful in appearance but I got tart cherry and cranberry in the flavor department. One bottle does not an opinion form. Willing to give it another try.

August 5, 2021 - Red fruit with good acidity. Long lasting linger. Lots of fruit up front. Great wine.
