  August 25, 2023 - This wine is very dark in color, without any fizz. I'm not sure what wine certain tasters are tasting under this category, but I think there may be a mistake. This wine is like a Brouilly or Moulin à vent in terms of color and consistency; the flavors and aromas have become quite smooth at this point in the wine's age. Plum, black cherry, a hint of baking spices, all in a smooth presentation.

Very slight carbonation - I am sure it would be a GREAT wine to serve in summer - especially guests whose palates do not lend themselves to heavy or complicated wines - just light wine to enjoy, like if you are thirsty.

  February 13, 2021 - Quite good—integrated flavor overall, plum, black cherry, a touch of wood and spice. Gut! No fizziness at all.

  February 12, 2021 - Deep purple colors, great plum and blueberry notes. Really fizzy taste needed to be decanted. Smooth finish doesn't linger on the tounge to long.
