March 23, 2024 - I agree with most of the earlier comments. At the heavily discounted price we paid ($39.00 per bottle, which includes tax and shipping), this has a stellar QPR and is punching way above its weight. If you like big Napa cabs with tobacco and leather and a nice backbone of some lingering tannins, this might be for you. Went great with the midwestern prime filets and caesar salad, but was also enjoyable just to sip.

February 3, 2024 - Full body and delicious.

November 18, 2023 - I'm biased, I enjoy all winery releases from Black Stallion. This limited release is no different, it delivers a nice full taste of dark fruit, smoke and leather. Balanced acidity and a good finish. I know I will appreciate it more if I would wait after opening, but who can wait? Still delicious on the PNP and served at 60F. This Cabernet opens up in an hour and settles into a wine that would shame many others at twice the price.

November 28, 2022 - Needs time to open! lots of dark fruit, light tobacco, leather and great structure to go with a steak.

July 1, 2022 - Big and ripe Cabernet but somewhat aromatically low key. Very full in the mouth, some mild tannins, not sweet, good linger. solid wine just wish it had more distinction.

Slightly better the second night, might age into something.
