December 25, 2023 - Beautiful wine, very primary, a nice grip of sticky tannins on the second day with a ribeye. Very ripe, full mouthfeel, mild creme de cassis and mineral on the mid-palate.

I kept thinking I should have bought 3 bottles of "Magic Nights" instead of one of these. I'm scoring this only slightly higher than the "Magic Nights." So by that measure I'm a bit disappointed.

October 4, 2023 - So delicious! This wine had flavors of strawberries, leather and oak with a long, balanced finish. The tart strawberries set the tone for a long, smooth finish. It was a bit tight upon opening, and will cellar well. As it opened, the true balance of the wine became apparent and amazing.

May 29, 2023 - The most disappointing wine of the night. Maybe expectations were too high? Maybe shutting down? Not sure but will be awhile before we pull another one of these out.

November 16, 2022 - The 2018 needs about 2+ hours but then it is young, jammy, and open for business. Excellent wine.

April 11, 2022 - Napa Trip - Trying new wines and meeting new people; 4/11/2022-4/12/2022 (Napa): This was opened at the end of the tasting. I wanted to spend more time with this one and having this after having all of Tynan's other stuff kinda wasn't fair. Black fruit and earth. It's interesting to taste another wine made by Tynan from another winery as the wine itself had a sense of his style. Give a good amount of air to this if opening now or just wait a few more years. Might be one of those '18 that aren't ready yet and will need some more time.
