  April 26, 2024 - Popped and poured during dinner, courtesy of J&L. Deep color with notes of vanilla and buttered popcorn. With time in the glass the fruit comes forward, with plum, mulberry and boysenberry. Full-bodied, with a plush texture and flavors of plum and vanilla. Good for this style. 91+ pts.

  November 23, 2023 - Bigger than the typical 50/50 release. Tannic and bold, big jam flavor without much of a bottom. A solid wine, but not the best version of this wine Peju has released. Would need to cellar for more time or decant for at least 3 hours instead of the one hour we gave it.

  June 18, 2023 - I preferred the reserve cab tasted at the same time. Very pricey for the juice.

  May 12, 2021 - Very Tannic with hints of bell pepper, blackberry on the pallet, very dark fruit, needs to lay down for around 8-10 years.
