March 28, 2022 - It’s strange, but this reminds me, in a good way, of the jug wine of my youth. It’s a little sweet, kind of fruity but really tasty. It’s got the backbone of tannins and a flavor of blackberry

October 22, 2021 - Wish I still had the Zinfandel to compare side-by-side. This wine is certainly on the ripe side, but very well balanced. Lots of dark fruit on the nose; initial sip has vanilla essence which evolves into nicely integrated oak. Plenty of tannin remains, so good aging potential.
