April 11, 2024 - As noted before this needs to BREATHE!!!!
Day one: an oaky disjointed mess. We opened several other bottles. This was the first evening after a five week break from wine. None of us came back to this wine.
Day 2: still several better bottles open in the kitchen and this just wasn't attractive enough although much more approachable than the day before.
Day 3: still brooding dark fruit but oak much less eminent and tannins smoother. Drinkable and pretty pleasant in the end.
Next bottle I will open B4 going to bed to drink with food the next evening.
Better options around for the price IMHO.

January 27, 2024 - Pretty good QPR. Clearly a Bordeaux blend but with a certain spice that tells you it’s not the usual suspects but a different terroir.

December 29, 2023 - Dark purple Bold on the nose with Black cherry, some funky tobacco leaf and earth
After a 2 hour decant, I still can't get past the flavor. Maybe it's just not my type of wine, but I find it unsatisfying.
A little bit of a twang, but mostly, it's just an odd set of flavors that don't seem to integrate well -

December 24, 2023 - An excellent South African red wine in the style of a Bordeaux. The large components of Cabernet Franc and Merlot lend smoothness while Cabernet Sauvignon makes it taste like a claret. Dark red color is matched by dark red fruit flavors. Full bodied but still smooth. A very interesting and worthwhile wine.

December 24, 2023 - Decanted 1hour MINIMUM!
this guy is good. Much better than the first time i drank undecanted. This is a must to breathe.
Dark fruits, oak, some tobacco and leather. I would be fooled to think this is a young entry classe bordeaux!
This will go so well w red meat... or honestly, even on its own. Punching above is weight. The vivino 4.3 is justified.
