June 29, 2021 - Very solid; it took a while to open up the nose, but it is nicely balanced, with subdued fruit and decently finish.

February 17, 2016 - Wow this was nice. Tried shortly after release and vaguely recall a cheapish cool climate steely merlot. This, on the other hand, had good fleshy fruity body, a nice backbone of acid and tannin, and a moderate finish, as well as subtle hints of secondary accents on the nose and definitely palate. I wish I had another bottle. I do not know how this will develop but try one now if you have several. If I had another, I would try it in a year or two, or several if I really wanted to know how this would taste fully mature. Was better on the second day, recorked and simply stored in the fridge. Purchased directly from Dry River and stored optimally.
