  April 6, 2024 - Still deep dark ruby in colour. Again takes time to open, but after 10 minutes the shiraz comes through, with ashy smoky tones. The flavour is raspberry, velvet, cigar box and chocolate, fading at the end. Still a truly very fine wine. Drink in the next couple of years

  June 24, 2023 - Wow. Trying this as a 25yo wine and super impressed. Holding together well and should see out the big three zero without a problem. Only a very slight brown around the edges. Dark red fruit with aged tertiary flavours and aromas for ages.

  March 13, 2023 - Takes 10 minutes to open up, but then it’s on! A 25 year old wine with almost no sign of fading colour at the edge of the glass. Chocolate and timber box on the nose, and rich elegant Shiraz fruit still underpins the full body flavour. A beautiful wine

  March 7, 2023 - Under cork. Deep red with evident bricking to edges.
  Nose; initially really unpleasant 'off' fish smell that, thankfully, blew off after about an hour or two of air, to reveal sweet black fruit, herb, bayleaf, leather, oak, mocha and a greenish note, very complex. Palate is complex and sweet, black fruit compote, very smooth and secondary, leather, oak, some capsicum, rich with depth.
  Day 2, held up pretty well indeed. Richness of the palate tells me this is not done yet and could have a few more years.
  Wow! Day 3, still really good! Well worth the price of admission. Solid 92

  October 8, 2022 - Initially astringent but after 20 mins in the glass, integrated, elegant, yet still robust and punchy a beautiful wine
