Unfortunately they poured this wine in the wrong glass: a sherry glass instead of a proper dessert wine glass.
So, the wine suffered for it. In addition, I believe Oremus changed their wine-making style: this one seemed to lack the traditional acidity/bitterness kick that I love so much in the Tokaji wines.
Now the style seemed to be more "international"; the characteristic "terroir" notes have gone out and it could have been produced anywhere.

December 24, 2021 - Loaded on tropical honied fruit - especially noting lychee and sweet pear. Good acidity to provide a lively lift. You can pick out a bit of heat, but overall enjoyable sipping wine.
