May 6, 2023 - Exceptional. Evolved over its drinking window. Wonderful fragrant notes on top of typical Rhone syrah package.

  • Sonoma-W Likes this wine: 95 points

September 21, 2022 - Really liked this one -- dark fruit, modern style, complex. Will buy more

  • Jon Harrison Likes this wine: 93 points

June 2, 2022 - This Cuvée is a blend of grapes coming from Côte Brune and Côte Blonde vineyards.
    ____________

    Color: Dark ruby.

Nose: Immediately, this smells like Côte-Rôtie! Deep, dark mineral pool of smoky black raspberry and black/purple plum fruit kissed with violets and cola spices. Lovely complexity (if you pay attention). Classic Côte-Rôtie. Beautiful.

Palate: Medium-full body. Flavors of black raspberry, bitter cherry, and cola. Good concentration. Slightly spiky acidity (this will smooth-out with age). Big but ripe/soft tannins. Very good balance. 'Only' 14.0% alc.

Please serve this sublime Côte-Rôtie at cellar temperature (62° max), let it come to temperature, and savor in your finest Riedel, Zalto, or Grassl glass.

92-93: now. With 45 minutes of air, drinks beautifully right now (2022).
93-94: with a bit more age.
Peak drinking: 2023-2030 (from a cool cellar).
