Community Tasting Notes 3

December 4, 2022 - Full, deep garnet color, vivid, with ruby edges. Aromas of black cherry with baked blackberry & plum, along with vanilla bean, lavender, leather and clove. Ripe black fruit on the palate, with secondary notes adding roasted coffee to the leather and spices. Medium bodied, with lean density, moderate acid and medium-firm angular tannins and a zesty fruit driven finish. Well-balanced flavors, phenolics are running a bit behind its ripeness.

February 3, 2022 - Floral and undoubtedly French Malbec. Wows on the nose and palate with tart black fruit, old leather and earthy spice.
