February 17, 2024 - Big red wine. Live it!

May 26, 2023 - Excellent. Deep dark color hints at what is to come: dark fruit with blackberries and coffee coupled with good spice notes. Medium acidity and smooth tannins balance out the profile. Really well done wine from AH. An hour of decant time gives it a chance to show everything.

August 20, 2022 - Decanting and letting warm a little from wine cooler - moderate sediment from decanting and some “chunky” - dark purple garnet color, first taste at about 45 minutes and has a little tannin on sides of mouth, full big flavor through mouth smoothly and down throat, some pepper and very grapy with small touch of dark berry.
Poured more at 1.5 hours - softer and stronger grape, and great after taste in mouth. Drank with mostly spicy beef/pork chili that made a great counterpoint so that dark berry flavor components popped out well

    April 23, 2022 - Outstanding wine.

January 19, 2022 - actually a rather complex wine tight upon opening but really opened up with nice medium tannins some smoke some dark cherry a little acid on the finish..very very enjoyable
