  October 25, 2023 - Top of cork was wet beneath capsule. Cork otherwise fine with no visible streaking. At first I thought this was corked but it showed okay. Light and feminine unlike the brooding 2013. May have been compromised but I drank it anyway. My last 2014 was lean like this as well.

  January 11, 2023 - Previous notes indicated that we should drink this wine from 2024+, and last night's tasting confirmed that. A bit hard and angular, with a surprising amount of tannins still, but with a delicious smokey mourvedre aroma and flavor. After the initial rush of acid and tannins the finish seems a bit lean, but hopefully this will improve with a couple more years in the bottle. A solid weeknight red by any measure.

  May 8, 2022 - Slow ox for about 5 hours. I thought this would be like the 2013 version which I loved. This too was great although lighter in body and color. This came across more like a Grenache, racy. It had the funk on the nose, taste of red berries.
