  September 18, 2023 - Just starting to sing now with clean bitter cherry fruit followed by a darker tannic backbone and wonderful acidity. Interestingly it is sealed with a Diam 10 cork, so they clearly expect it to last at least 10 years.

  December 27, 2022 - Utterly delicious. Unoaked quality. Perhaps a shade less acidity this year. One of my very favourite "basic" wines.

  January 12, 2021 - Nose: The nose is hi-toned and floral with red fruits, strawberries, bing cherries, plums, crushed rocks, and roses. While there is good complexity, the tones are all on the surface and lack any real depth.
  
  Taste: The feel is Medium bodied with medium acidity and medium tannins. The feel is forward and the lack of depth from the nose is present with red fruits, strawberries, plums, and roses.
  
  Overall: This is a decent, yet forgettable Chianti. It has some lovely red fruits, but it really lacks depth as the tones really just fall on the surface of the wine.
